The Cards Know ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you visit shop.thecardsknow.com:
- Browsing data — pages you view, products you click, time on site. Standard analytics, collected via cookies.
- Order info — name, email, shipping/billing address, payment method. Required to fulfill orders.
- Communication — emails you send us at hello@thecardsknow.com.
What we do with it
- Fulfill your orders (we share your name and address with our print fulfillment partner, Printful, to make and ship prints)
- Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and replies to your emails
- Improve the site (browsing analytics help us understand what people look at)
- If you opt into our newsletter, send occasional emails about new prints, The Deck, or the daily tarot app
What we don't do
- Sell your data to anyone, ever
- Share your data with anyone other than fulfillment and payment partners required to complete your order
- Use your data for ads or marketing without your explicit consent
Cookies
We use essential cookies (cart, login, checkout) and analytics cookies (to understand site usage). You can decline analytics cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for the site to function.
Third parties
- Shopify — our storefront platform; your order and account data, governed by Shopify's privacy policy
- Printful — our print fulfillment partner; your name and shipping address, governed by Printful's privacy policy
- Stripe (via Shopify Payments) — our payment processor; your payment info, governed by Stripe's privacy policy
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it entirely by emailing hello@thecardsknow.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA. Email us — we honor them.
Changes
We'll update this policy if our practices change. The date Shopify shows at the top of the policy page reflects the last update.
